Logan Mick suspended one game by ECAC Hockey

Quinnipiac forward Logan Mick has been issued a one game suspension by ECAC Hockey for his check on Dartmouth's Joey Matthews in Saturday's 0-0 tie with the Big Green. The play happened at the 2:40 mark of the third period where Mick hit Matthews into the boards as both were going for the puck. No initial call on the ice was made and only after a conference between the four officials and the fact that Matthews had to be taken off the ice was a major interference call assessed. The hit was nothing like the one he dished out a season ago on the road against Boston University when he launched into a Terriers player. He will miss Friday's game against the University of Maine.
